SILICON VALLEY -- For many Silicon Valley companies, the Consumer Electronics Show is the biggest tradeshow of the year.

This year, they're expecting more than 100,000 attendees, and 20,000 electronic gadgets made by 2,500 tech companies.

Analysts are looking for several big trends to emerge out of CES this year.

These include 3D televisions, electronic book readers, smartphones and touchscreen tablet computers.

One of the most anticipated products of the year is Microsoft's new motion-sensitive video game project, code-named Natal.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer plans to demonstrate Natal's latest capabilities during his keynote speech on Wednesday.
